I haven't done business with the Honda portion of the dealership but the Service Manager and the Service Dept. on the Ford side are top notch. The Ford sales staff is also top notch and friendly. I have had 2 repairs done in their shop on 2 of my older vehicles this year and have been extremely pleased with the work and service.

I visited Bennettsville Honda to have my 2014 Honda inspected due to several lights coming on. I waited 2 hours at the dealership to find out that the wheel bearing was loose. Keep in mind, I brought my car brand new off the showroom floor in 2014 at another Honda dealership. At Bennettsville Honda, my service adviser told me that the part for my car would arrive around 1:30 pm. I made arrangements to be picked up. Hours go by and I haven't heard from my service adviser about my car being ready. I called the dealership at 3:28 pm. A man in the service department confirmed that my car was ready. I told him my name and he confirmed that my car was ready (he told me the color and model of my car).

When I returned to dealership on Monday, my service adviser attempted to apologize for the incident that occurred on Friday. Needless to say, his apology was not sincere. In his apology, he indicated that "he worked late to ensure that my car was ready. And my car has 52k miles on it, which is why the need for a new wheel bearing was warranted and that I should keep up the maintenance on the car!" Every other sentence that came out of his mouth was followed by an excuse. When you get close to Bennettsville Honda....HIT THE GAS!! I will not be returning and the mechanic that worked on my car better hope that he solved the problem....

Excellent service performed on my Pilot. All personnel that I encountered were very professional, but also welcoming. Work on my car was done in a timely manner. Clean and comfortable environment. I had a great experience and I will frequent this business.

I arrived at the dealership around 4:30 pm to pick up my car and my service adviser, who was behind the services counter hanging out with the cashiers, tells me that I can't pick my car up because the warranty company had not submitted their portion of the bill. It was established during my 2-hour wait that I had an extended warranty and that I was responsible for paying my deductible. The service adviser claimed that he didn't have the warranty company's phone number since I had the paperwork with me. Keep in mind, he was on the phone with the warranty company while I was there and received prior approval for the repairs. He also stated that I didn't talk to anyone at the dealership to confirm that my vehicle was ready. The service adviser and the cashier proceeded to joke around and suggest that I pay the whole $400+ bill if I want to leave with my care today....I was furious. If I had not contacted the dealership, they would not have contacted me about my car. After the 30 minute drive back to my destination, I called back and gave another service adviser the number to my warranty company. My service adviser calls at 5:30 pm (when the dealership was closed) to try to make arrangements for me to pick up my car after hours, which was not feasible. Therefore, I went all weekend without my car.

I brought my car brand new and have had to replace a wheel bearing, 2 tires, the battery, and Bennettsville Honda quoted me over $1k of maintenance that my care needs...Funny thing is...I know others that have the same model car and are having the same issues....
