Only American owned hotel in bennettsville hotel but in need of repairs usually used by workers and locals. But close to projects so sometimes brings local problems

Amazing staff and the owner is great! The rooms are very nice. A/C works great! Free WiFi :) and awesome housekeepers. Would recommend ANYONE here! One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at!
This place has the worst customer service ever. I didn't think so months ago. However, when my son graduated the weekend of June 3rd. I had family come through. The rooms were reserved ahead of time. Both rooms had two beds. However, when my family pulled up to stay she had five little kids and two adults. They informed them the could not stay. I feel that's unfair they were all little kids under age. One of them was 16. They made us pay five dollars more per person. My thing is myself and my family member both stayed there before. No problem. I'm talking about little kids that could share beds no bigger than nothing. I can believe the person they have running the office very nasty and mean. It was the worst during my son special weekend. People that he couldn't wait to get here so he could spent a day with. We spent our wasted going back and forth with this lady she would not give me the owners number so she claim she called herself. They made us pay a extra 30 dollars for little kids. My God what will people like myself and my family member do because we have multiple kids. She was so nasty. The only nice person was the maintenance guy who remembered all of us From staying there before. I will never use this hotel again. She even contradicted herself from the hotel rules and the fire Marshall rules. We weren't breaking any rules based off the fire Marshall. She said only two people are to be in a room and if we didn't like it we could go down the street. To another hotel. How at the last min. Never ever will this hotel be used. Horrible service.
I remember being on an archaeological survey of a Scanna pipeline, 1998, I think. We were all over the place. I remember staying here and the 25 of us took over the place and had a blast. The pool was empty, though, but we still grilled out! Good time.
